Authors who publish with Taro Gau: Journal of Islamic Studies agree to the following terms:

1. Copyright Retention

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to share (copy and redistribute) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon) the work for any purpose, even commercially, provided that an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal is properly cited.

2. Author Rights (Self-Archiving)

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories, on their personal website, or academic social networks) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

3. Warranties

The author warrants that:

  • The article is original and has not been published previously.
  • The article does not contain any unlawful statements or infringe on the rights of others.
  • All authors have contributed significantly to the work and agree to its submission.
